1939 Chevy master deluxe 'Opera coupe' as some call it Was painted
black from gold in 1967 Amazing black lacquer! The car was
notorious for driving to a racetrack and racing.. never hauled It
raced in oxford Maine in 1967 It raced at dover speedway in ny in
1969 Pictured from an old 1969 dover film It also raced at ct
dragway in the early 1970's and possibly lebanon valley or others
in that era Parked in a garage ever since (Registration expired in
1980) The car has been stored away for years ever since Recently
pulled from the estate The motor and transmission is now removed
(and going into something else) 1939 all steel body car rolling-
Had small block Chevy and a 4 spd t10 in it (no motor no trans)
(Rear fenders are fiberglass) rest of car is all metal No rot, (one
very small rust hole near driver door pillar) beautiful body
Original knee joint suspension Rolling on appliance torque thrust
wheels With poly while walls (Have the old running boards) New
custom stainless gas tank Lakewood bars and ride level shocks in
the rear with original leafs Stewart Warner guages Glove box clock
works! Also has a heater and am radio Has 59 Impala tilt steering
wheel Front seats are GTO and in great shape! Rear has the folding
original opera seats Includes driveshaft and a rear axle 3:28 posi
rear to replace the undesirable 3:70 Also the fender headers with
