Vehicle Description
What is not to love about this car? It's absolutely gorgeous- color
combination is awesome, decked out with accesories and the fit &
finish is great. It was born these colors! The entire staff just
loves it. The body is laser straight and the paint is blocked and
polished like a mirror. Even the jambs are slick. New weatherstrips
and sill plates. Chrome and trim overall is a 9 out of 10 with most
of it being new or restored. The wire basket hubcaps and the big
radial white wall tires really set it off. Has a very rich looking
German black cloth convertible top that looks new. Everything fits
and is aligned properly. Even all the windows rolled up fit the top
tight, doors shut easy. The interior is also super nice. Replaced
red and white upholstery fits tight, cushions are firm. Carpets,
door panels are replaced. All of the white metal was painted to a
smooth glossy finish including inside the glove compartment. Has a
few nice upgrades including front seat belts, removable console
with cup holders and embroidered floormats. It is rare power
steering and brakes as indicated on the horn ring and brake pedal.
Convertible top frame has been cleaned up and painted. Motor
compartment is detailed. The engine bay is all gloss black, motor
is painted and decorated with the right decals. It even has a
reproduction Ford Power Punch battery. The trunk compartment has
been restored has all new felt liner, a white wall spare it's never
been on the ground and the jack. Also included is some touch up
paint, original literature, manuals and an extra set of the dish
style hubcaps. Underneath is good. Front springs and shocks, gas
tank look new. The flathead motor just purrs. It has been upgraded
to an alternator and electric wipers. It just keeps running through
my head "what a sweetheart" as I look at this car. I bet I've said
it 10 times!
