1972 Ford Maverick Restomod

While retaining the original exterior looks and characteristics of this 51 year old classic, this '72 maverick has been restored with the addition of several pieces of modern technology. It features a high performance Ford V-8 347 stroker motor, a 3 speed powerglide automatic transmission, Wilwood front disc brakes, billet front grille, front spoiler and restored original upholstered interior to complete the fit and finish of this classic machine.
A family member custom ordered this Maverick from Ford in 1972 and it was used as a daily driver until it had just over 280,000 miles in 2003. The car was stored in a garage until 2013 when the title was transferred to me. The rebuild/restoration was completed in 2015. The odometer is currently at 282,220. The new engine has under 25 hours of use, most of which are from traveling to local car shows and cruise-ins over the past few years. It's currently registered and titled as a Historical Vehicle in Washington state.
Along with the original Owner’s Manual, new buyer shall receive a comprehensive collection of pre-restoration maintenance receipts and records as well as a collection of the numerous receipts and service records for the rebuild/restoration.
This Maverick was appraised by Auto Appraisal Network in 2019. Stated in the report: “The subject vehicle, at the time of this report, represented a Very Good example of a: 1972 Ford Maverick 2-Dr Sedan Custom Vehicle. With consideration for all the information and dollar amounts determined as relevant to this report, Auto Appraisal Network has determined a Fair Market of this vehicle to be $31,800.”
