Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present our 1987 BMW M3. This BMW M3 is a
European-market example that was sold new in Switzerland and was
imported to the US following the original selling dealer's
acquisition in 2022. Our M3 is finished from the factory in Alpine
White (146) and features M3-specific exterior details that include
aerodynamic front and rear bumper covers, side skirts, a rear
spoiler, and a decklid, rear glass, and C-pillars that were revised
from the standard 3-series models. Additional equipment includes an
electric sunroof, headlight washers and wipers, integrated driving
lights, a roof-mounted antenna, body-color side mirrors, and twin
exhaust outlets. Exterior wear is noted and includes paint chips
and abrasion along the lower front bumper cover. Silver-finished
15? basketweave alloy wheels are mounted with 205/55 Yokohama Advan
Fleva tires that were replaced in March 2022. Our E30 M3 is
equipped with a thicker rear anti-roll bar and stiffer springs than
the standard 3-series, and braking is handled by four-wheel
anti-lock discs. The interior features front sport seats and
bolstered rear seating trimmed in gray cloth with houndstooth
inserts and matching door panels. Appointments include gray
carpets, electric windows, headlight leveling control, an onboard
computer, a cassette tape magazine, and a BMW Bavaria AM/FM
cassette player. The three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO
instrumentation that includes a 260-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm
tachometer, and gauges measuring oil temperature, coolant
temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer indicates 179k
kilometers (111k miles). The 2.3-liter S14 inline-four features
dual overhead camshafts and individual throttle bodies, and it was
factory rated at 197 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Power is
sent to the rear wheels through a dog-leg five-speed manual
transmission and a limited-slip differential. Documentation
accompanying the car includes manufacturer's literature, partial
service records, a Car-Pass report, and import paperwork. Our '87
e30 M3 had a full major service by Gaswerks Garage in September
2022. Gaswerks fully rebuilt front suspension. Gaswerks Garage also
performed the transmission service, diff fluid change, oil & filter
change, topped off all fluids, replaced front and rear pads and
rotors. In September 2022 All 4 tires were replaced, mounted and
balanced. All service records included
