Step back in time with this RetroMod 1953 anniversary Corvette!
Conversion done by AAT conversions and is #209 of only #212 built.
It's a fully loaded 85,000 mile 2000 Corvette with the retro body
kit to create this beautiful piece of machinery.
EXTERIOR: Finished in the very appealing Anniversary Red Metallic
which is a 3 stage paint. The Front and rear end resemble a 1953
corvette. All the body panels attach to the car without cutting it
up. The integrity of the factory-built car remains the same. This
Vette looks stunning driving down the road. Fall in love with the
look of the classic wide mouth chrome grill, and chrome bezel
headlights fitted with stone guards. 20" Savini Signature Series
wheels wrapped in Advan tires complete the look, as well as the
bright red painted disc brake calipers. The convertible top matches
the interior and is a light oak color.
INTERIOR: They started with a loaded up car! The light oak leather
interior has been very well preserved with light wear. It's got
full power options including driver memory, auto dimming mirror,
head up display, premium Bose stereo w/ cd changer, and dual
climate control. The convertible top is manual but easy enough for
one person to put up or down.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Pop the hood and it will look exactly as it
appeared in the original C5 Corvette. It boasts the LS1 V8 engine
making 345hp. They've added some neat vintage style covers that
resemble the 50's corvette valve covers. Overall, it's a very clean
engine compartment that's all original.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Power release trunk lid by a push of the button.
The trunk is exactly how it would appear in a C5 corvette. Finished
in the matching light oak carpeting. There's a nice, embroidered
mat with bound edges. The storage compartments are underneath
that.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath is original. Full aluminum chassis that's
clean and straight. It's fitted with independent front and rear
suspension. The transmission is the factory 4 speed automatic with
overdrive. The exhaust has been customized which gives the engine a
healthy rumble. The rear axle has 3.15 gear ratio and has limited
slip with traction control.
Many like the idea of a vintage car but not the requirements to
upkeep them. Here you have a turnkey modern corvette that looks
just like they did back in the 50's. It truly gives you the best of
both vintage and modern in one!
