It has just 45,710 miles on the odometer and has been well-maintained throughout its life. The exterior has been repainted in its original Dark Cordovan Pearl Coat and much of the faux-wood trim replaced. The interior is trimmed in the original contrasting Dark Sand leather seats with corduroy trim. This Grand Wagoneer is one of just over 4,200 produced during its final year of production. About the model
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer was a variant of the Jeep Wagoneer produced between 1984 and 1991 as a replacement to the Wagoneer Limited. The Grand Wagoneer was built in a four-door body style, identifiable by its wood-grain paneling, and set the standard for SUVs in the '80s. The Grand Wagoneer evolved under AMC and then Chrysler ownership and was powered by a choice of six or eight-cylinder engines through 1986 when the powerful 5.9L V8 was the exclusive powerplant option. Power was sent to all four wheels via a part-time Selec-Trac 2WD/4WD shift-on-the-fly system. For 1991, the final year of production, the desirable Final Edition Grand Wagoneer option was available.
