This 1981 Camaro Z28 is a very nice example of Chevy's Gen II pony
car. It is basically in original condition but has received
cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. The Z28 option in '81 included
performance features along with appearance enhancements. This
Camaro appears to be a factory optioned Z28 model. The VIN
indicates that it was delivered with the correct 'L' engine code
for a 350ci Z28. The exterior has been professionally refinished
Bright Red with Z-28 accents, air-induction hood, subtle front air
dam, and classic rear spoiler. New American Racing alloy wheels
mount Kumho performance radials, also new. The Grey cloth/vinyl
interior is in overall good condition, but seat upholstery does
show some normal wear. Convenience features include A/C (needs
TLC), full gauge package, tilt wheel, power locks, tinted windows
and Panasonic AM/FM/CD sound system. This Camaro was also optioned
with smoked glass T-tops. The factory 350ci engine has been
replaced with a GM 350 crate motor that sits is a carefully
detailed engine compartment. It is fitted with an aluminum intake,
Edelbrock carburetor and tube headers that route exhaust to a
custom stainless system. Torque is delivered by a new three-speed
TurboHydramatic gearbox to a factory differential. The chassis
incorporates power steering, power disc/drum brakes (11"/9.5") and
HD front/rear sway bars. This Camaro Z28 is an eye-catching ride
that runs very well. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
