This Shell Valley Cobra replica was assembled under previous
ownership circa 1985 and is powered by a 427ci V8 paired with a
four-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in white with
blue stripes over black leather upholstery, and equipment includes
dual Holley carburetors, an aluminum radiator, a front-mount oil
cooler, four-wheel disc brakes, 15 alloy wheels, side-exit exhaust
pipes, multi-point harnesses, and a fire extinguisher. The current
owner acquired the car from her late father in June 2023, and
service in preparation for the sale consisted of replacing the
battery, bleeding the brakes, and changing the oil. This Shell
Valley Cobra replica is offered on consignment by the selling
dealer with build photos, partial service records, spare parts, and
a Florida title listing the car as a 1990 Kit.
The fiberglass body is finished in white with blue stripes, and
details include quick-jack bumperettes, bullet-style mirrors,
side-exit exhaust pipes, a Le Mans-style fuel filler cap, and a
roll hoop with a headrest pad. A removable blue tonneau cover and
removed bumpers accompany the car. Close-up photos show cracks in
the fiberglass on the rear valance, chips in the paint, and damage
to the right headlight trim. Black Chrome-finished 15 alloy wheels
feature simulated three-eared knock-offs, and are mounted with
245/60 front and 296/50 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Coilovers
are fitted at each corner, with adjustable QA1 units up front.
Service in 2019 included installing uprated front calipers and
rotors, brake cooling ducts, and repacking the wheel bearings. The
brake system was bled in preparation for the sale.
The low-back bucket seats are upholstered in black leather,
complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets.
Amenities include G-Force multi-point harnesses, a fire
extinguisher, and a Hurst shifter. The hydraulic pedal assembly was
replaced in 2019, and a custom aluminum floorboard was fitted. A
wood-rimmed steering wheel with a Cobra center cap fronts a black
vinyl dashboard housing Stewart Warner instrumentation that
includes an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, an analog
clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 12k
miles.
The 427ci V8 was reportedly bored .030 over and features dual
Holley carburetors, bright-finished valve covers, heat-wrapped
tubular headers, a front-mounted oil cooler, and an aluminum
radiator with an electric fan. Work in preparation for the sale
consisted of replacing the battery and changing the oil. The
