The Ford Model A was produced from 1928 through 1932 with nearly 5
million delivered. This unrestored 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe
is a great original example of a popular model. The body's exterior
is said to be original paint - the Brewster Green has a 'patina'
finish and fenders are gloss Black. All the bright work is in good
condition including the stunning grill. The top insert is also in
good condition (may be original) and Deluxe exterior accents
include dual cowl lights w/chrome cowl band. At some point turn
signals were also installed. The Model A's interior is also said to
be original. Seat upholstery is Deluxe tufted/buttoned cloth that
is in very good condition. A handsome steering wheel and chrome
gauge cluster are in fine shape. The same applies for the door
cards, headliner and all window glass (tip-out windshield). Other
Deluxe options include carpeting and a dome light. The rumble seat
upholstery is black vinyl and there is a rear mounted spare
w/custom tire cover. The owner has also added an electric 'Ahooga'
horn - too much fun. This vintage Model A is powered by Ford's
201ci flathead 4-cylinder engine that purrs as only a flathead can.
It pushes out 40 horsepower and is backed by a 3-speed manual
unsynchronized gearbox with floor shift. The chassis is solid with
4-wheel 11" mechanical drum brakes and the original yellow 19"
30-spoke wire wheels mount Goodyear whitewall tires (that are
somewhat past their prime). This classic '30 Model A coupe is truly
a piece of art. That said, you can also open the rumble seat and
head to the next hometown parade or summer cruise-in. ALL VEHICLES
SOLD "AS IS".
