1967 was the introduction of the fifth-generation F-series which
would be produced until 1972. Needless to say they were also made
for many other countries and were also assembled in Mexico,
Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela and Australia. with a wide range of
engine options depending on what continent you lived. This specific
highly sought after regular cab short box is a southern truck and
is extremely clean when referring to lack of rust and rot. The
underside has southern surface rust but is remarkably solid
including floor pans. The body also appears to be all original with
no patch work. The truck use to be red and was back yard painted by
the current owner who has had the truck quite a while with it
always being stored indoors since coming north and never driven in
the winter. This is a very low optioned truck, just like they used
to come. The seller also did install a more modern 302 Cubic Inch
V8 over the 6-cylinder that it came with. This would be an
excellent candidate for a frame off restoration or drive it as is.
It starts, runs, shifts and goes down the road very nicely with a
nice sounding exhaust.
