Vehicle Description
The 300 Letter series cars were built from 1955 through 1965 and
were High Performance luxury cars and were a sub model of the New
Yorker. The original letter cars were 300 HP hence the number 300
for the remainder of the series. At its introduction, they were
advertised as "Americas Most Powerful Car". By 1965, the engine was
a very stout 360HP. This particular absolute stunning automobile is
probably the nicest 300 L in existence let alone the eleventh and
final of the letter series cars. These had super crisp lines with a
tough slab side exterior and super cool and comfortable interiors.
It would cost you the asking price to do body and paint, so keep
that in mind. This car is highly optioned with A/C, full power
windows including vent window all in working order. The speedometer
is in operable which is why there is a GPS style electronic
speedometer hooked up. Power seats operate as they should as well.
The chrome and brite work is fantastic and this car sounds, runs,
drives and stops so nicely with an excellent sound. Our consignor
bought the car as you see it and unfortunately we do not carry on
restoration information, however the car speaks for itself and has
a commanding presence. This car needs nothing and probably could
even be a contender at a Chrysler meet. The original steel wheels
come with the car as well.
Everyone that comes through the shop here does a double take when
they walk past the stunner. Do not let this one get away. This is a
ton of beauty and the beast for the $.
