1961 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside The Chevrolet Corvair was a compact
car line in various models manufactured by Chevrolet for model
years 1960�€"1969 in two generations. Throughout its lifespan, the
Chevrolet Corvair saw a multitude of body styles come and go,
including two-door coupes, four-door sedans, convertibles, vans,
and yes, even pickup trucks. As for the pickups, two models were
offered the Rampside and the Loadside. We have a great restored
rare 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside here at Skyway Classics with

The rear-mounted air-cooled flat-six motor is set up for a lower
center of gravity, and some Porsche-style handling fun, has a large
rev range, looks as it did back when it was new with the black
factory air cleaner system, electric cooling fans, carb system and
intake, factory exhaust. It rolls on aftermarket 5-spoke chrome mag
wheels with thin white sidewall tires for that period look, drive,
and feel. Interior The fresh interior on this Corvair cabin looks
quite nice as well, and comes with matching two-tone teal/black
bucket seats, matching door panels, teal and white painted
surfaces, as well as the factory dual cowl dash that borrows
styling from the Corvette factory dash with all the gauges and
instruments, accessory gauges, accessory tachometer, stainless
trim, black floor mats, factory steering wheel, updated stereo
radio, and even a working CB radio system under the dash. Exterior
Corvairs always turn heads wherever they go and this one does too
with its professional restoration as this machine is in stunning
condition and features the two-tone teal/white paint. The glass and
body trim look super not to mention a pair of very shiny chrome
bumpers, Corvair badging, and a tow hitch out in back. It also has
a restored bed with the working rampside and a rare matching
