What does the SS have to offer how about a Vortec (MAX) 6.0L V-8 engine with RPO code LQ9, making 345 horsepower at 5200 RPM and 380 pound-feet of torque at 4000 RPM, and also features high-compression (10:1) flat-top pistons. The transmission is a 4L65E four-speed automatic with a 4.10 final drive gear ratio.
