Vehicle Description
1983 CHEVY C/10 SILVERADO "SQUARE-BODY"
We acquired this truck from a friend who owned it for a really long
time. It was his running and driving project that he had spent lots
of time and money on its mechanicals (engine & trans) but never got
around to its cosmetics (paint & interior) He offered it to us to
purchase and without hesitation we snatched her up and immediately
went to work. CHECK IT OUT!!
The body was actually not that bad, but the original paint had
pretty much faded away. It did have some rust in the cab corners so
they both were replaced but that was about the extent of its rust
issues. The rest of the body including the floors, frame and bed
were all in good original shape and surprisingly solid. We pulled
the bed and stripped the old paint and repainted it in its original
color "LIGHT BLUE" in base/clear and wet sanded and buffed it to a
brilliant shine. We did replace the weatherstripping and some of
the trim and the grille too. The interior was also restored
including the seats and carpet and we also installed a new dash pad
too. It all looks very-very nice! This truck is powered by a strong
running and healthy sounding 400 c.i. small block engine that was
rebuilt a few years ago. It has a few performance modifications
including a mild cam, aluminum intake w/ 4bbl. carb, HEI ignition
and headers just to name a few. It is backed up by a crisp shifting
TH-350 automatic transmission and its original rear. Other features
include power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, power
locks, new Flow Master dual exhaust, original 15" rally wheels and
more! This is an original 94,000-mile truck that looks really good
and it runs and drives every bit as nice as it looks! We priced it
right to sell fast so don't miss it
