Our sales manager personally custom-ordered this car for a special
client when he was managing a Ferrari dealership in the 2000s.
Tired of cliche-red Ferraris, the gentleman wanted 'something
different.' Ferrari had just added a new color called Fiorano Red,
named after their Fiorano factory test track, and it dramatically
emphasizes the 360's beautiful body sculpting. Also rejecting the
traditional tan interior, a new leather color called Cuoio was
selected that has a very rich, natural-leather tone.
Optioned with the next-generation F1 transmission, factory modular
wheels, Scuderia shields, power Daytona seats with piping and
Challenge grille in the rear, the car had all the popular touches,
plus the personalization of matching Cuoio leather on the dash,
steering wheel and rear bulkhead.
The Spider was traded in five years later, to be sold to the second
owner who has kept the car for eighteen years. This gent is also a
long-time Ferrari enthusiast who has maintained the car rigorously,
keeping a file of all the service invoices from new. We have the
original window sticker, the complete leather pouch with all the
books & manuals, original tool kit & car cover plus a battery
maintainer and both sets of keys.
Over the years the car has been upgraded with full protective film
on the front quarter and a 360 Sport Exhaust that was a later
factory option. Of course, it has a spotless CarFax report and has
just received a professional servicing with new cam belts &
tensioners. Aways a Colorado summer car, it has never been exposed
to Midwest salt residue or punishing Southwest sun deterioration,
so the leather has no shrinkage and the entire car looks
immaculate.
If you are considering one of the classic or collectible cars on
our website, be assured that coming for a personal visit to inspect
first-hand the car that has captured your fancy is very welcome. We
practice transparency in all of our descriptions, but believe that
nothing is as convincing as seeing and touching the car yourself.
Plan a few hours, so you can see, touch, feel and drive the car,
and enjoy a tour of our restoration shops to see 'where the magic
happens.' If your schedule is too committed, we also welcome a
knowledgeable agent visiting for you. Please understand that sales
are final, so the time for all due diligence is before you buy. Our
cars are sold AS-IS, since most are on consignment from owners. We
follow FTC guidelines for all sales and certainly want our future
clients leaving more glowing reports among our reviews!
