A true "Track-Day Racer" John Cooper Mini GP. This is like NO other
Mini Cooper. It is built by John Cooper (Racing) Works.
The $39,500.00 (in 2013) GP is a limited-edition track-day special
that splits the difference between the standard John Cooper Works
hardtop and a Mini Challenge race car. Production is capped at 2000
units worldwide, of which we'll initially get just 500 here in the
U.S. this is number #45.

have been winning on multiple tracks like Monte Carlo, Daytona, and
Watkins Glen to name a few. All Behind the wheel of a John Cooper
Works Mini. With 211 turbocharged horses (1.6L 4cyl Turbo 6M) and
race-ready tuning, fully electronic throttle controls this fast
hatchback and iconic high performance MINI is the most powerful
Hardtop MINI ever made. The John Cooper Works line is developed for
those who demand the ultimate in performance engineering. You can
feel the power as you shift the 6-speed manual Getrag
transmission.
The handling package by MacPherson independent front suspension,
multi-link rear suspension, front/rear anti-sway bars, and

calipers-non GP like JCWs have only four-piston pinchers. Team
Dynamics Motorsports 17" x 7.0" wheels, and P215/45R17 tires. A
rear wing, diffuser, and underbody panels reportedly reduce lift at
the rear axles by 90 percent at speeds above 62 mph.
Exclusive interior done in Carbon Black leather and Dinanica
microsuede inserts upholster Recaro sport seats. Yes, they are
heated! The dash in black leather with red thread. Full race gauge
package. This is a built track MINI that is loaded; Dual Zone
automatic climate control (A/C), Steering Wheel Controls, SIRIUS
satellite radio, Xenon headlights with black headlight housings,
and auto Alarm System with engine immobilizer. Take a look at the
rear cargo area to see the body stiffener bar. Yes, this MINI can
drift!
Exclusive two-tone color paint scheme in Thunder Grey Metallic and
a Silver Metallic roof with red highlighted mirrors, lower air
intakes, brake calipers, and the rear dual exhaust housings. The GP
cannot be mistaken for other Minis. Options like a full body aero
kit, and an array of Carben Fiber parts; fuel cap, doorhandles,
emergency brake handle, steering wheel inserts and yes, the rear
wing.
