Vehicle Description
Chevrolets Master Deluxe debuted in 1933 and carried on until 1942
with a wide variety of body styles, always resting at the top of
Chevrolets price range. The Master Deluxe was an up-scale model
showing off its beautiful curves and downward sloping body crease
and was later retooled in 1937 to feature new bumpers with a new
grille and bullet shaped headlamps. They've been popular within the
hot rod community today, and many of them have been customized and
upgraded to have more modern safety, convenience, and power
benefits. Not to mention the ease of engine upgrades and
replacement parts availability.
Offered here is a 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe finished in a crisp
Cardinal Red exterior with a clean and comfortable Gray & Black
cloth interior. Powering this modified Master Deluxe is the
ever-popular Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine with a 4-barrel Carter
carburetor that is rated at 300 horsepower mated to an
Turbo-Hydramatic 350 automatic 3-speed transmission. Features
include Vintage Air conditioning, power rack & pinion steering,
power disc brakes, aluminum radiator, HEI ignition system, pioneer
sound system, Stewart Warner gauges, high back bucket seats, tilt
column, Z28 steering wheel, chrome cylinder cover, custom LED 3rd
brake light, LED front halo turn signals, electric trunk release,
courtesy light, illuminated vanity mirrors, functional cowl vent,
tinted window glass, and Truespoke chrome wire wheels with new BF
Goodrich radial T/A tires measuring 215/70R14 just installed the
summer of 2022. Custom work on this Chevy has been beautifully done
as it showcases modifications to the power antenna, taillights and
rear license plate that are now recessed or "frenched" in to
provide a sleeker and more modern look. The battery has been
relocated to the trunk and is under a carpeted cover that provides
a clean, finished presentation.
Purchased most recently from a local Missouri couple, this
Chevrolet has been garage kept and well cared for since completion.
With only 1,341 miles on the odometer, it remains in excellent
condition inside and out. It is clear to see it has been treasured
and driven very sparingly for short cruises around town with
friends and family. More recently our museum mechanics replaced
inner tie rod boots, wheel lug nuts, exhaust gaskets, steering rack
bellows, topped off fluids and performed an oil change in
preparation for this sale. The car comes complete with an extra
wire spoke spare wheel along with 2 sets of keys. A customized
classic that is sure to turn some heads and be an enjoyable drive
for everyone the spacious interior can hold. Thank you for your
interest and please contact us with any questions or to schedule a
