A Very Rare Find. Very original and well preserved, time capsule,
Black 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 nine passenger limousine
with only 26603 miles. This impressive 1959 big finned masterpiece
was one family owned and was inherited from father to son who kept
it safe in storage for many years before deciding to sell the car
to our company. The mileage on this believed to be original based
the son's story and the overall condition of the car. This time
capsule Cadillac is very original and extremely well preserved
condition, with mostly original code-10, Ebony Black paint over a
structurally beautiful limousine body with excellent metal
structure and panel fitment and jeweled impressive original chrome
in extremely good condition for being 65 years old.
The car went
body shop to remove a few dings and chips to be repaired and was
polished and looks amazing.
All of the chrome, stainless and glass appears to be original and
is incredible condition, however there is minor patina and
imperfections on some of the chrome that you would expect for being
65 years old.
The interior is all original, including the black leather chauffeur
seat in great condition for being original leather. The dash is
very nice and not warped like most 1959 dashes. The instrumentation
is clear crisp and showing only 26,603 which should be
original.
The passenger area retains the original plush Light Gray Wool
Bradcloth seats with minor wear from passengers sitting. The
original pop up passenger seats have held up very well as seen by
the pictures. The head liner was stained, probably from champagne
and we decided to have it professionally reupholstered to match the
overall quality of the car. Under the hood is factory original and
shows very well after being professionally detailed. The original
390 engine runs very well with no smoke or unusual noises nicely
optioned with power steering and power brakes.
The undercarriage is very solid, original and intact form bumper to
bumper.
This classic Cadillac limousine is
rolling on a brand new set of white wall radials and the we
preserved original 1959 wheel covers and has exceptional curb
appeal.
