1986 GMC 1500 Why This Car Is Special General Motor Company
produced the first Sierra in 1975 as a full-size pick-up truck for
the Chevrolet C/K trim. The name Sierra differentiated the various
trims in this line, such as the Sierra Classic and Sierra Grand.
The letter K denoted the model which had four-wheel drive, and the
letter C the rear-wheel drive models, ours is the K 4WD model. The

everything in this engine compartment appears to be stock including
the factory three speed automatic transmission, factory black
painted air cleaner assembly, power steering, power brakes, air
conditioning system, hoses, and the dual exhaust system. It runs
and drives extremely well as the transmission shifts on the mark
through all the gears and into 4WD properly and sits in a very
clean and detailed engine compartment that looks factory fresh and
it rides on black sidewall tires and GMC factory wheels with trim
rings and caps. Interior The bright red interior is very clean and
looks as new with its red bench seat with upholstery, factory dash
with all the correct gauges and controls, GMC black steering wheel,
air conditioning, 4WD shifter, pushbutton radio, red carpet,
seatbelts, and floor mats. The Sierra also came with electronic
cruise control, power door locks and power windows. Exterior Our
1986 has the bright red exterior paint that is in great shape. The
1986 truck had a revised grill design which had a thicker
horizontal divider, rear and front bumpers, even has a painted red
bed with the trunk bed mat and the rear spare tire underneath the
