nicely done 1967 Chevrolet Malibu. The final model year from the
first generation, this 67' Chevelle Malibu is one of the coolest
mid-sized coupes to be built on GM's A-body platform, with the trim
level Malibu option being well up the ordering list. This Malibu
stands out from earlier trim level models with factory upgrades,
including redesigned grille and bumpers, smoother contours, curved
side windows, and the iconic "coke-bottle" body style. There's so
much to love about a 1st Gen Chevelle, especially when they have
been updated with a powerful LS2 V8 engine mated to a 4L80
automatic transmission with a 3000rpm stall. The completely worked
LS2 under the hood has been shown some major love by the guys over
at JCG Restorations & Customs in New Braunfels, TX. (Aug. 2022)
with a new LS3 intake, injectors & fuel delivery system, BTR Stage
3 camshaft, LS3 heads with LS7 lifters & trays, 92mm throttle body,
a Melling oil pump, Hooker headers feeding a newly installed Hooker
Blackheart dual exhaust system, new fuel tank and a host of other
upgrades, all documented & photographed. This car is not just about
power and performance, it's also about comfort and convenience. The
Malibu also comes equipped with cold blowing air conditioning,
providing a cool and comfortable environment even on the hottest of
days. The cabin features the center console shifter with factory
clock, surrounded by front bucket seats and a rear bench
upholstered in turquoise vinyl joined by a color-coordinated
dashboard housing retro fit digital gauges, door panels, and
carpets. The power steering and power disc brakes in all four
corners add to the ease of handling, making every drive a pleasure!
The car rides on American Racing 17" Draft wheels wrapped in some
aggressive looking rubber, ensuring some much needed road grip and
stability while keeping the look of an American muscle car. The
retro style AM/FM/Bluetooth radio powers a top-of-the-line $5k JL
Audio sound system allowing you to tune into your favorite stations
as you cruise down the road, and with that sweet LS3 exhaust note,
