1972 Karmann Ghia. I bought the car about 15 years ago and drove it
for a number of years and then parked it in the backyard covered up
about five years ago. Well, it the standard VW story I have too
many projects and it's time to thin the heard. It's in rough shape
but you could either restore it or put some time into it and roll
it. The pans were replaced by the previous owner, screw and bondo
job and a bad resprayed to its current color, the original color
was blue and at some point the car had air condition. Rust in the
rockers and the standard places, the turn signals four-way flashers
and clock do not work. It's running on a nursing bottle now because
I have not cleaned out the tank from the old gas. The engine and
transmission are in good shape with a new battery and fuel pump
installed. For its age the original seats are in good condition and
all of the window seals and carpet, and tires need to be replaced
and a bunch of other parts. Odometer reads 29761 but as we all know
it's probably the second time around. Rust on the roof and it looks
like the nose has not been hit but the P.O. did bondo the holes for
the horns. I have a clean title in my name and a couple of sets of
keys. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at our
