Gateway Classic Cars of Tulsa, Oklahoma proudly digitally presents
this 2003 Mercury Marauder. The Marauder nameplate started in 1963
and was still in production till 1970. Mercury resurrected the name
plate with the 2003 re-introduction of the Marauder using the
Panther chassis which also is use for the Ford Crown Victoria and
Lincoln Town Car. The Marauder was upgraded from the Grand Marquis
using brakes, suspension and other upgrades from the Ford Crown
Victoria Police Interceptor package. This Marauder comes with the
odometer reading 67733 miles on the 302 horse power 4.6 liter Dual
Overhead Cam V8 and is mated to the 4R70W 4speed automatic
transmission. Original wheels with Goodyear Eagle 235/50/R18 give
the car a little chrome flash, however doesn't take away from the
dark black look of the car.Just because the Marauder was produced
with performance in mind, Mercury did not skimp on the interior
amenities either. Interior comes with nice driver and passenger
electric heated leather seats with memory, custom white gauges
create a really nice sporty dash look and a AM/FM/6 disc changer
stereo round out the large space. This is one great example Marauder
and one that should not be passed up.
