As the collector truck market continues to increase in popularity,
we are starting to see more of the rarely seen body styles coming
out. This 1947 Ford Pickup is one of those trucks. This great Ford
Pickup is a very nice driver example, and has been kept very
factory style. Powering this Ford is a period correct 238 flat head
V8 and backed by a 3 speed manual transmission, with the shifter on
the floor. The sound coming from the flathead V8 is enhanced by the
true dual exhaust. The rear differential and suspension has been
kept in stock configuration. The green exterior is in good
condition, and is enhanced by the cream paint trim, wood bed, and a
set of American Racing wheels. The brown vinyl interior is also in
very factory form and is in very good condition. One fun fact was
that 1947 was the final year before Ford introduced the "F" series
trucks. With very few 1947 Ford Pickups in the market, you are
bound to be the only one at your local cruse-in. If you are in the
market for a very nice driver classic truck, take a close look at
this 1947 Ford.
