You are looking at a 1953 Ford F-600 Flat bed truck...This is a very solid truck that needs restoring. It does have a running overhead valve V8 engine in it. 53 was suppose to be the last year of the flathead engine that became famous in 1932. I am not sure if this is a very late 53 truck that actually came with the overhead 239 engine or it is a later engine. It has a 4 speed manual transmission with an electric shifting 2-Speed rear-end! The cab and fenders are very solid. Apparently the truck had a dump bed as the transmission has a PTO unit on it. This would be an excellent truck to build a vintage car hauler on. If you have a rusty pickup, the cab is the same. I feel that my price of $3,500 (REDUCED DOWN FROM $4,500) is very realistic for a classic vehicle like this one with the potential that this vehicle has.
