The Custom 1965 Dodge Dart GT Convertible with a 440ci is dressed
to kill. This is by far the ultimate built one-of-a-kind renegrade
Dart! Since the build has only 908 miles!
Starting with the major fabrication the rear and front existing
frames are tied with 2"x4" steel tubing bar and a 6"x2" ties the
frame left to right. This beauty can handle all the power the 440
can dish-out with adding a 4-link rear system, a drive line loop,
and a 1.5" tube frame with trusses. The "A" body also has dual
custom roll bars.
Some of the many modifications like special shaved doors, trunk
floors cut out 6" for the coil overs, special modified fuel cell,
batteries (yes 2) moved to the trunk, and a special bracing and
support for a full 20" spare tire.
The Stellar Green Metallic paint with 4 coats of clear is a
showstopper! All chrome has been removed and powder coated
Platinum. The custom roll bar has been painted to match. Enjoy the
ride with 8 way electric/heated seats, five-point harness, custom
center console with gauges, matching door panels, and power top!
The trunk has been signed by many of the country's top builders
like Chip Foose!
The 440ci with high compression heads, polished crank, forged
pistons, stainless lifters and rods, and a Holley TBI fuel
injection this beauty can rock! Yes, the 440 is built to run on 92
Octane pump gas. Custom forward headers and massive 3" dual exhaust
with a cross over plus electric cut-outs. Makes music to the ears.
