pleased to present this unique, one of kind 1954 Chevy Bel Air. Not
only is it a hammered out custom coupe, but it comes with it's own
trailer. This was originally a give away car from The King of
Beers, but now it is here at GR Auto Gallery of Indy for your
consideration. This is a full blown custom, lots of body
modifications including; dual Corvette headlights, custom tail
lights, 58 Impala roof vent scallop, and Lake pipes. The custom red
paint is still shiny and beautiful, accented by era correct
pinstripes. The traditional tuck and roll interior features low
back bucket seats, custom console, custom shifter, and Impala
steering wheel. All the interior is finished in white to give a
bright contrast to the red on the body. Drive this one out of our

After World War II, many small military airports throughout the
country were either abandoned or rarely used, allowing hot rodders
across the country to race on marked courses. Originally, drag
racing had tracks as long as 1 mi (1.6 km) or more, and included up
to four lanes of racing simultaneously. As some hot rodders also
raced on the street, a need arose for an organization to promote
safety, and to provide venues for safe racing. The National Hot Rod
Association was founded in 1951, to take drag racing off the
streets and into controlled environments.
