Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1965
Chevrolet El Camino. Few cars in history are as easily identifiable
and loved like the El Camino. Over the 25 model years and 5
generations, Chevy's half truck, half car has proven to be a
classic from its early days when it debuted in 1959. The El Camino
was created in direct competition to Ford's Ranchero that hit the
streets in 1957. When the El Camino first came into the market it
was built on the Chevrolet X-frame and shared the same engine
options and styling as the other big Chevy cars at the time like
the Impala and Biscayne. In 1964 the El Camino was completely
retooled on the new mid-size Chevelle platform. For the remainder
of the El Camino's life it carried on as a midsized vehicle with
car styling comparable to the Chevelle/Malibu but with that
unmistakable pick-up truck bed. Powering this '65 El Camino is a
327 Cubic Inch Small Block V8 backed by an Automatic Transmission.
The purple paint is accented well with the black vinyl
interior.Options on this 1965 Chevrolet El Camino include: Air
Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Tilt
Steering Wheel, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires.
