Rotisserie restored genuine R/T SE born a B5 Blue 440! The 69
Charger R/T SE was a combination of muscle and luxury far better
equipped than the Road Runner. The R/T gave it the performance, the
SE gave it the luxury. Air conditioning was added to make this
Charger even that much better.
EXTERIOR: This big body Mopar is laser beam straight. Painted in
its original B5 Blue, the paint is gorgeous. It has the correct
black vinyl top with special edition badging. The chrome and trim
look great. We installed the black bumble bee stripe which really
pops, the original R/T emblems are also included. It has the pop-up
racing gas cap and dual mirrors. The windshield looks new, the rest
of the glass crystal clear. It has the correct R/T emblems on the
1/4s in place of the bumblebee stripe. The hideaway headlights open
and close properly. It has a great looking lowered stance and great
looking wheel/tire combo. They are new 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels
wrapped in some meaty tires, extra wide in back.
INTERIOR: Great looking matching blue interior, you don't see that
often! The Special Edition package gives you pocketed door panels,
genuine leather bucket seats, woodgrain trim, deluxe wheel and
more. This one also has the Rally gauges including a tachometer and
a working clock. It has the interior light package and a factory
AM/FM radio. The bright blue carpet, kick panels, and center
console all look to be in great shape. From the carpet to the
headliner, it is looking great. The interior lights work. The
headliner looks really good, and the dome light is functional. The
a/c was neatly installed, the controls were updated with electric
slides instead of cables.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Born a genuine 440 Magnum car, you'll find a
correct rebuilt 440 under the hood. It has performance upgrades
including ProMax aluminum heads, hotter cam, Edelbrock aluminum
intake, a dual feed Holly carb with electric choke, MSD ignition
and a set of coated headers. Features include power steering and
power brakes. Upgraded with Vintage Air heat and a/c. The motor
runs cool with an aluminum radiator, overflow bottle and dual
electric fans There's a big aluminum radiator with electric fans to
ensure keeping the engine cool. All the components look clean and
proper. It has horns, squirters are hooked up, and the battery is
secured. The engine bay is clean metal painted really nice. The
hidden vin matches the car, and the fender tag is attached.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk area is very spacious. Under the trunk
lid and jambs are painted smooth and glossy. The weatherstripping
has been replaced also. The entire trunk was also painted nice
glossy blue, it has a nice trunk mat, with used spare tire and
correct jack assembly. The trunk is nice and complete how it should
be.
UNDERSIDE: Being a rotisserie restored vehicle, the whole underside
is painted gloss blue. The metal looks rock solid and clean. The
front suspension and steering all look to be replaced or rebuilt.
New dual exhaust with H pipe, Dyna Max ultra-flow mufflers and the
correct chrome tips. All new brakes, lines, hoses and e-brake. Disc
brakes in front. The fuel system was replaced including the tank
and lines. The rear suspension looks to be replaced. There are also
lowering blocks fitted to the rear leaf springs to give it a very
nice appealing stance. Bottom of the motor is spotless and has a
high torque starter. It has the correct Torqueflite 727 HD auto
trans with a nice, baffled B&M pan. In back is an 8 3/4 rear
end with Sure Grip gears. Underneath really is like new!
SERVICE: Our shop inspection found very minor issues to be
addressed. The shift linkage was adjusted, and the wiper linkage
was adjusted. The rest passed with flying colors.
This is one you'll want to consider. We get Challengers, Road
Runners, and Super Bees, not too many Chargers, especially like
this one! This one has the look, the features, and the rarity to
