Description:
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was refurbished in 2017
and is powered by a 427ci L71 V8 paired with a four-speed manual
transmission. The car is refinished in blue over black vinyl
upholstery and equipment includes a white convertible soft top, 15?
turbine-style wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes,
side-exit exhaust pipes, a cabin heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome
bumpers, and retractable headlights.
Interior:
The cabin was refurbished under previous ownership and features two
bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as
color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Amenities include a
heater, a vertical push-button AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and
lap belts. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph
speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary
gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant
temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles.
Exterior:
The car left the factory finished in Marina Blue (976) and was
refinished under previous ownership. Features include a white
convertible soft top, a black-striped stinger hood, retractable
headlights, chrome split bumperettes, fender vents, a driver-side
mirror, and a side-exit exhaust system with heat shields.
Drivetrain:
The 427ci L71 V8 is equipped with three two-barrel carburetors and
transistor ignition and was factory rated at 435 horsepower and 460
lb-ft of torque. An aftermarket radiator is fitted. Power is sent
to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a
Positraction limited-slip differential. The turbine-style 15?
wheels are mounted with Firestone redline tires. The car features a
fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at
the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at
the rear. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel
discs.
