Vehicle Description
1961 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside
The Chevrolet Corvair was a compact car line in various models
manufactured by Chevrolet for model years 1960-1969 in two
generations. Throughout its lifespan, the Chevrolet Corvair saw a
multitude of body styles come and go, including two-door coupes,

Mechanical
Under the hood beats a what looks like the flat-six rear-mounted
and air-cooled engine with dual carburetors which mates to a manual
transmission.
The rear-mounted air-cooled flat-six motor is set up for a lower
center of gravity, and some Porsche-style handling fun, has a large
rev range, looks as it did back when it was new with the black
factory air cleaner system, electric cooling fans, carb system and
intake, factory exhaust.
It rolls on aftermarket 5-spoke chrome mag wheels with thin white
sidewall tires for that period look, drive, and feel.
Interior
The fresh interior on this Corvair cabin looks quite nice as well,
and comes with matching two-tone teal/black bucket seats, matching
door panels, teal and white painted surfaces, as well as the
factory dual cowl dash that borrows styling from the Corvette
factory dash with all the gauges and instruments, accessory gauges,
accessory tachometer, stainless trim, black floor mats, factory
steering wheel, updated stereo radio, and even a working CB radio
system under the dash.
Exterior
Corvairs always turn heads wherever they go and this one does too
with its professional restoration as this machine is in stunning
condition and features the two-tone teal/white paint.
The glass and body trim look super not to mention a pair of very
shiny chrome bumpers, Corvair badging, and a tow hitch out in
back.
It also has a restored bed with the working rampside and a rare
matching restored Honda 50 motorcycle to run you around at all the
car shows and cruises you are going to attend, with enough room for
all your trophies.
