Vehicle Description
The 928 GTS has always had its value, only being produced from 1992
until Porsche ended production in 1995. The GTS model was only
produced for 4 years and had low production numbers for those
years, making the 928 GTS a gold mine for Porsche enthusiasts. They
were built on the "lightweight" idea from Porsche, as were most of
the other models, and the doors, hood, and front wings were made of
aluminum. As the years went by the 928 GT was introduced and it was
by far "sportier". The engine was upgraded, with several
modifications, to around 330 HP. And after 1992 begun, Porsche
started to produce the 928 GTS. This was the last stage of the 928,
by far the best. Being the last 928 model for production, the car
came with a 5.4-liter engine, capable of producing 350 HP, 17' cup
rims as a standard, cup design side mirrors, a red light panel for
the rear, and a rear spoiler painted in the exterior color.
This Porsche 928 GTS model originated in italy before being
imported into the United States by Hedon Motors mid-2023. The car
was also a factory exhibition vehicle, 1 of only 41 GTS's to be
part of an exhibition. To add to the value, only 7 of the 41
exhibition vehicles were optioned without a sunroof. Being a
sunroof delete car, there may only be a couple finished with the
same exterior paint color. The exterior Is finished in Polar Silver
Metallic, followed by the cabin with black Leather upholstery and
supple leather seating. The sport seats inside the car are also
power-adjustable, there are 2 rear folding bucket seats as well.
The car came factory with a CD stereo, but the owner has went ahead
and had the Porsche Classic Communication Management Screen With
Navigation Installed, pairing with Hertz speakers. The amenities of
the vehicle include driver-seat memory settings, a heated drivers
seat, a Porsche branded CD stereo, power windows, cruise control,
and high output air conditioning with rear vents. The 17" cup 1
wheels feature color Porsche-crest center caps and are mounted with
225/45 front, and 255/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Equipment
includes force-sensitive power steering and vented disc brakes at
each corner. The car was optioned with sport shocks from the
factory. The 5.4-liter DOHC V8 features four valves per cylinder,
LH-Jetronic fuel Injection and was factory rated at 345 HP and 369
lb-ft of torque when new. The power is sent to the rear wheels
through a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The carpet In the trunk of the car was replaced, and the odometer
cluster was replaced in July of 2020 and is said to have shown 47k
kilometers (approximately 29k miles) at the time. The timing belt,
tensioner box and spark plugs were replaced in 2017.
The Car is now for sale at Hedon Motors in Charlotte, NC and has an
NC title and registration.
