This 1997 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IV is a Japanese-spec, right-hand
drive sport sedan that was imported directly here to North Carolina
and is now NC titled. The EVO IV was launched in 1996 and
represented a major step forward for the Mitsubishi rally sport
compact. These early EVO IV models are very, very rare on the
resale market and this Lancer EVO IV is stunning. The exterior has
been professionally refinished in original Scotia White and is in
excellent condition. Accents include front air dam, ground effects,
PIAA fog lights and rear spoiler. Distinctive 17" EVO white alloy
wheels mount Bridgestone Potenza performance radials. The tasteful
factory grey/burnt-orange cloth interior is also in very good
condition. Features include Recaro front seats, climate-control air
conditioning, power tinted windows, metric instrument cluster,
power mirrors, Nardi padded wheel and an AM/FM/CD/Cassette sound
system.
The aluminum 2.0L turbocharged, intercooled I-4 engine is a fuel
injected dual overhead cam design that is rated at 276bhp and
260lb/ft. It has been fitted with an HKS Turbo-Timer Package to
protect turbo-charger temperature. Torque is delivered to all four
wheels by a 5-speed manual gearbox. The chassis is equipped with
power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes (newly turned rotors/new
pads), stainless exhaust and Cusco front tower brace. The AWD EVO
IV is also factory equipped with Mitsubishi's Active Yaw Control
(AYC) center differential that distributes torque between the front
and rear wheels. Included with the car is original documentation
and the Owner Manual, but you will need a good friend who can read
Japanese. This extremely rare Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IV will soon be
moving to a new garage - why not yours? ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
IS".
