For Sale: 1969 Pontiac GTO in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

Here comes "Da Judge" and this is the one! Pontiac Historical Service documented. This Judge was one of the first 50 built with a build date in February of 69! This meticulous frame off nut and bolt, was restored to its originality down to chalk markings. Featuring the most desirable signature colors. Correct Hurst T handle 4 speed to grip while you're shifting through gears!

A lucky winner won this in a dream car giveaway, and eventually found its home in the Georgia Mountain Collection. A big collector in the classic car game with an amazing building of over 50 cars. We were lucky enough to be able to bring this Judge into our museum with a few other cars from his collection.

EXTERIOR: Restored to better than new. The body is phenomenal; the fit and finish amazing! The carousel red paint is show quality, and the stainless trim is polished so brightly it will blind you. This Judge was professionally redone and painted in 2015. This truly is a dream car. The judge package gives you a functional ram air hood with working hood tachometer, rear spoiler, and side graphics. The soft ray tint glass looks like new. It even has the correct antenna. It's sitting on correct Rally II wheels with the trim rings removed. The wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich tires.

INTERIOR: It has beautiful parchment bucket seats and door panels which were the original color to the car. All the door handles, window cranks, and trim looks replaced. It was factory optioned with an Am-Fm radio, deluxe seat belts, center console, and rally dash. The 4-speed Hurst shifter with the correct T handle makes for a fun drive every time you take it out.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: A vin # matched properly dated WS code 400CID 366hp Ram Air III sits in the center of the refinished engine bay. The block is stamped with the matching VIN to the car. Everything looks correct down to the polished valve covers, reproduction hoses, and chalk markings. It's also equipped with power brakes, and power steering; just how it was ordered from the factory.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is spotless! The jambs and under deck lid were painted to perfection and the weather stripping was replaced. The wiring looks to be replaced as well. The spatter paint is so nice they purposely left out a trunk mat so moisture wouldn't ruin the finish. It has a restored rally II spare wheel with a wide oval reproduction tire. Even the jack assembly was refinished. It's exactly as how it would have shown up from the factory.

UNDERSIDE: This GTO went through a complete body off frame restoration; a folder of receipts and docs are included. They restored this car to exact specs down to the correct stickers. The front and rear steering and suspension components are rebuilt/replaced. It has the right 355 posi special ordered 4 pinion heavy duty rear end. It also was restored with the correct 4spd manual transmission. A McLeod street pro clutch kit was installed at time of restoration. It has a very nice Gardner OEM reproduction exhaust with the correct mismatched sized mufflers and optional tips. The floors and frame are amazing. No rot or rust is present. It really looks like a new car underneath.

SERVICE: This GTO went through our shop inspection. The carb was adjusted at that time. Along with the steering box adjusted, and reverse lights replaced.

This very might be one of the best examples you'll find that has been completed back to originality. On top of not only being a documented restoration, but also PHS documented. They don't get better than this.

A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
