Description:
Total weekend cruiser, Cold air, 33 degrees! upgraded 5 speed
transmission, restoration photos, and extensive history. Still
retains the factory engine. Painted in 2019, and originally a rust
free body. Please take a moment to view the underside shots and
full driving video to get a good understanding of this Datsun.
Interior:
The interior is very nice, custom skillard door cards, Bucket seats
are upholstered in Microsuede inserts. Quick release steering
wheel, and an aftermarket shifter. All gauges are upgraded to
Autometer.
Exterior:
The paint is nice, I would call it driver quality. Minor
imperfections on hood and rear quarter sections. No rust on the
body, prior condition photos in the gallery. It is rolling on a set
on 16" Enkei Compe Wheels mounted on 225/50 Falken Azenis RT615ks
giving great grip and handling. Body trim pieces have been painted
to match the wheel color, and it looks great.
Drivetrain:
The 2.8l straight 6 runs excellent and has been gone through, loves
the 4-5rpm range, will not overheat with the upgraded aluminum
radiator. Front disk brakes are slotted, and stop this 280z with
ease. Rear end was upgraded to 3.55 gears, The rear end does have
slight lash at slow start up, so a rev of the throttle and clutch
manipulation are needed for smooth transitions. Please take a
