STK 3665 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra
This 3-owner Mustang SVT Cobra has been carefully maintained and is
an excellent example of the 4th generation Fox-body classic. The
original Laser Red Tinted Clearcoat finish is in outstanding
condition. Exterior accents include Cobra emblems, fog lights, rear
spoiler and SVT Cobra 17x8" polished alloy wheels. The original
'Sport Seat' interior is upholstered in black leather and is also
in very good condition. This sporty Hoss is well equipped with A/C,
power driver seat, dual front airbags, power windows, tilt wheel,
cruise, power locks and keyless entry. It is also is equipped with
a premium sound package that features an AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo.
The black convertible top is power assisted and there is an
integrated upholstered roll bar.
SVT Cobra power is provided by an aluminum 4.6-liter, DOHC
(four-valves per cylinder) V-8 that outputs 305bhp/305 lb/ft. This
engine was a totally new design in '96 and ones used in the SVT
Cobras were hand-built. Exhaust is routed through a stainless steel
exhaust system and the 4.6L powerplant is backed by a Borg Warner
T45 5-speed manual transmission w/Hurst Comp+ shifter. Torque is
delivered to a Traction-Lok 12-bolt differential with 3.55:1
gearing. The upgraded SN-95 performance platform is fitted with
power steering, ABS power 4-wheel disc brakes (13"/11.6" rotors),
4-link rear suspension, 29/27mm sway bars, variable rate springs
and MacPherson struts/gas shocks. This original Mustang SVT Cobra
