This 1987 Power Ram 150 (W150) is a really clean and straight truck
that spent its life in the Pacific NW. The last owner spent a lot
of time and money to make this truck making it into a daily driver
and tow vehicle for himself. He did a lot of preventive maintenance
and upgrades tro this truck. The only reason he sold it is because
he was gifted a Dodge 5.9L Cummins from a deceased family member
and he did not need 2 trucks. The body is excellent. This truck was
originally black, but was painted blue at some point years ago. The
paint is still in good condition with minor wear and tear here and
there that you can see in the pictures. All of the chrome and trim
is in nice original condition. The underside is extremely clean and
we fund no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also nice with a newly reupholstered seat and new
carpet. The dash, door panels, and dash bezel are original. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work. The heat horn, and windshield wipers
work. It is you basic nice Dodge interior. As a bonus, this truck
has a pretty sweet stereo system with amp and subwoofer
installed.
Mechanically this truck is great!! A Lot of maintenance and
upgrades have been done. The 5.2L 318 V8 is original to the truck
and recently had a new Edelbrock Aluminum Intake and Edelbrock 4
Barrel Carb installed. Other work completed was a full tune-up, new
distributor, new radiator, new heater core, new radiator hoses, and
custom exhaust.The engine runs strong and smooth and it is very
clean under the hood. The transmission is the 727 Automatic that
shifts nice and it is mated to the np208 transfer case. The 4WD
works like it should. Both axles have been upgraded to the 3/4 ton
axles which is a great upgrade. The rear axle is a Dana 60 with
3.54 gears and the front axle is a Dana 44 with 3.54 gears. This
truck also has all new body mount bushings, new brake rotors and
pads, and new shocks all around. This is all sitting on a set of
Dodge Steel Wheels with new BFG All Terrain tires.
This truck would make a great everyday driver or just a weekend
