For Sale: 1977 Aston Martin V8 in Astoria, New York
1977 Aston Martin V8 LHD with Matching NumbersThis 1977 Aston
Martin V8 Left-hand Drive is a highly original matching numbers
example. Silver with black leather interior and automatic
transmission. It runs and drives but has been on static display for
several years and will require mechanical recommissioning prior to
active road use. An honest and straight car with plenty of wear and
patina. Damage-free on the outside, except for cracks on the
windshield and rear window. The car has been repainted at some
point and there are some signs of surface corrosion on the chrome
bumpers. The interior is in decent condition, with only some wear
visible. Everything, from the roof to the door cards, looks good.
The Aston Martin V8 was brought out as a follow-up to the DBS V8
with some improvements, better noise insulation, and more muscular
styling. Powering the car was a V8 engine which could be optioned
with a Chrysler-sourced automatic gearbox. Formidable V8 power and
handsome Aston Martin styling. The Aston Martin V8 represents a
great approachable classic Aston Martin backed by solid internals,
arresting looks, and commendable driving. Luxurious on the inside
and strikingly good-looking on the outside. The Aston Martin V8
stayed on sale from 1972 to 1989. The car was subjected to a number
of revisions, some of which coincided with the introduction of a
new owner for the marque. As a car company, Aston Martin did go
through a lot during those times, but what stayed largely constant
was the well-engineered, great-looking car that was the Aston
Martin V8. Matching Numbers Highly Original Left-Hand Drive Example
