Vehicle Description
1959 Cadillac Coupe Deville. Our family has owned 7 vintage
Cadillacs, but this is by far the best in all respects. Fully
loaded including Blue-tooth upgraded Factory Radio. EXTERIOR:
Professionally painted years ago in 2-stage base/clear and has held
up nicely. Fenders are not 'loose' at rear as many 59/60 Cadillacs
are famous for. All the stainless is undamaged and beautiful. Tires
are about 50% worn. Hubcaps are perfect. Headlights/Park Lamps work
as they should. Except for headlights, all bulbs have been upgraded
to super bright LEDs which glow wonderfully at night. INTERIOR: The
interior was redone by the senior owner and is beautiful. The dash
pad is covered by a 'cap' that blends perfectly with the interior.
Power window motors were replaced and work quickly as they should;
Power Antenna works perfectly. Carpet is beautiful. Headliner is
mint (not tears/stains). The dash lights are all upgraded to LED's
and illuminate beautifully at night. Power seats work great.
Interior is very quiet. For those who may not be aware, the 1959
and 60 GM cars with the x frame famously had outriggers that were
thin and prone to rust. While my car is a very solid frame and most
of the outriggers are intact, there are a few that have rusted out
to the inner rocker aspect of the car. I had an estimate from an
area body shop that are car club uses of 7500 to have those
replaced without affecting the exterior aspect of the finish. We've
not been able to get this scheduled in for repair but I did want to
disclose that. It's nice as my car is it suffers from the same
historical effects of the thin outriggers. The price has been
adjusted accordingly.
