1957 CHEVROLET 150 327 CI, 4-SPEED TRANSMISSION This 1957 Chevy is
very impressive. It is straight from every angle that you look at
it. All of the gaps line up square and flush. The doors shut like
new. All of the chrome and stainless are in good condition. It
still wears its original color Tropical Turquoise, code 799. It is
slightly patinaed but still shows very well. All of the weather
stripping and door seals have been replaced. It has all new tinted
glass. It rides on a set of US mags with 235/55/17 tires in the
front and 235/50/18 tires in the rear. The interior is new from the
carpet to the headliner. It has a Hurst 4-speed shifter sticking
out of the floor. Looking at the dash-it is in great shape. All of
the gauges are clear and working, it is radio delete and the heater
controls slide with ease. The headliner is as tight as a drum and
the dome light even works. The windows roll up and down with ease.
The engine compartment is nice and tidy with its 327 cubic inch
engine that has double hump heads and an aluminum Edelbrock intake
manifold with a Holley carburetor. The generator has been upgraded
with an alternator. It also has been upgraded with a power brake
booster with dual master cylinder, chrome valve covers and air
cleaner, and a 4-core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It
still retains the factory exhaust manifolds. Looking up at the
floors-they are all clean metal, no signs of rust or patches. The
front end has been gone through-it has newer springs, shocks and
steering components. The brakes have been rebuilt and upgraded to
disc brakes in the front. There is a newer dual exhaust system with
glasspacks that runs all the way out to the rear of the car. The
bottom of the motor is clean as well as the manual transmission.
The rear suspension has also been gone through including new
springs and shocks. It has a new gas tank, straps and sending unit.
The frame, floors and braces appear to be very solid and original.
The trunk is all solid metal and painted in Tropical Turquoise. It
has the correct trunk mat, spare tire and jack assembly. There also
is new trunk weather stripping. This is an exceptionally nice '57
Chevy! It has some nice upgrades-4 speed transmission, front disc
brakes and a killer stance!
