Vehicle Description
They don't make them like they used to - or customize them like
they used to either. This 1940 Chevy is old school in every way. No
fancy hi-tech items on this hot rod. Powered by an older, great
running, carbureted Chevrolet 350 with a TH350 automatic
transmission, this drivetrain was the hot rodder's choice years ago
for a good reason - lots of power, affordable and easy to work on.
The front suspension setup is another classic hot rod item, a
Mustang II system with steering rack and disc brakes. Again,
reliable and easy to work on, but also delivering great
drivability.

Runs and drives great
This cool old Chevy was never 100% finished by its builder, however
the tough work has been done, not the least of which is a chopped
roof that gives this 1940 Chevrolet a great look. Other features
include a frenched license plate, tri-bar headlights, Chevrolet
rally wheels, as well as a tilt steering column and front seats
from a later model Chevy truck. A Grant steering wheel and a
tachometer mounted to the steering column are a couple of other old
school features that give this Chevy so much character. The car
will need some interior work and miscellaneous finishing, but it
runs and drives great! This is the perfect car to finish what
someone else started with your personal touch - without breaking
the bank.
