1954 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup For Sale - Nicely Restored Example Of
One Chevrolets Most Classic Trucks LMC is very proud to offer for
sale this 1954 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup The debut of Chevrolet's
"Advance Design" pickup truck models in 1947 made them one of the
most popular light utility offerings of the postwar era from any
manufacturer, and this fact remains true for Advanced Design
enthusiasts today. The AD wide cab was engineered with comfort in
mind, and the single-piece front-opening hood was a big departure
from the twin side-opening versions of the past. The 1954 edition
is distinguished by the one-piece windshield and the new
Thriftmaster 235ci 6-cylinder engine, an engine with full-pressure
oiling and insert bearings, configured here with a detailed look
Paired with the 3-speed synchromesh manual transmission, these
workhorse models regularly doubled as both work and personal
transportation for many owners. The 3100 denoted the half-ton
weight designation. This beautiful 1954 Chevrolet 3100 five window
offered here for sale has been beautifully restored in medium green
painted coupled to black running boards. Inside is a wide bench
seat in brown vinyl, cream colored dash paint, excellent
refinishing on accessories and components, a three-spoke steering
wheel with chrome center ring and twin round-face gauges. The
exterior paint is accented by a stained wood bed, upper bed board
side slatting and drivers' side exterior mirror. Under the hood,
the engine compartment is nicely detailed highlighting the
Thriftmaster 235ci inline six-cylinder engine. The wheel center
caps show off the Chevrolet symbol and a set of Firestone wide
whitewall tires complete the classic look here. This 1954 Chevrolet
3100 Pickup is an incredible example perfect for the collector who
is looking for a post-war pickup truck to add to their collection.
