Vehicle Description
Fuel-injected V-8 power and retro equipment push this 1937 Ford
Coupe over the top. The PPG Bad Ass Black gives the smoothed
steel-bodied Street Rod sinister monochrome style from the
custom-crafted grille to the retractable rear license plate. Rolled
drip rails, flush-mount glass, hand-sculpted running boards and a
custom tail pan with recessed taillights accentuate the sleek 1937
Ford design. The '30s meet the '90s under the hood with a 1993 Ford
5.0L HO V-8 with multipoint electronic fuel injection and a
polished intake manifold. The high-output performer sends power
through a C4 automatic transmission with a 1,800 RPM stall
converter to an 8-inch Ford rear axle with 3.55 gears.
Custom-fabricated headers and rear center-exit dual pipes belt out
"Ford Five-O" sound. Deep black fades to purple in the custom cloth
cabin. Sculpted door panels, Teas seats, Vintage Air climate
control and plush door-to-door carpeting provide royal comfort.
Dakota Digital instrumentation, a carpeted Ford tilt column and
Boyd's Posie steering wheel serve as the command center. Heidts
Superide coilover front suspension with rack-and-pinion steering
and a Pete and Jakes ladder bar coilover rear suspension team up
modern road control to match fuel-injected performance. Halogen
headlamps light up the night in factory Ford teardrop style and a
17-gallon stainless fuel tank enables long-range journeys. The fast
and formal coupe rolls on 15x6 front and 15x8 rear Weld Cyclone
wheels equipped with a big and little tire combination for an
aggressive stance. This classy Ford is a hot rodders dream. With
all the right equipment, this Ford is ready for long road trips,
beach days, car shows, or just the local drive in. It won't last
