Zoom Classic Cars is proud to present this 1966 Oldsmobile
Toronado. The 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado is a classic American
automobile that epitomizes the luxury and elegance of its era. It
stands out with its sleek, flowing lines, chrome accents, and
powerful presence on the road. The vehicle was purchased by the
current owner nearly twenty years ago. In that time, he has put
less than 1000 miles on it, but has updated the power brake system.
The vehicle starts right up and drives as expected. It features a
425 cubic inch V-8 with a 4-barrel carburetor, and automatic
transmission. Owner is not certain but believes the previous owner
did rebuild the motor. The fenders, quarter panels, hood and trunk
all are 95% solid, with each having some minor flaws. The interior
will need some attention. The dash has cracked, the carpet has been
removed, and the door panels need some attention. The floor of the
interior will need to be replaced, along with the floor of the
trunk, as you can see several spots that have rusted through.
Someone skilled in body and metal work could make this vehicle a
true beauty once again, as the vehicle starts right up, runs and
drives as expected. Included in purchase is an additional steering
column and two fenders. While this vehicle runs and drives, it is
really more a project car with need for metal work, paint, and
interior. 1966 was the first year of the Toronado, and two
distinctly unique features are the barrel speedometer, and it is
the first front-wheel drive vehicle by GM in over thirty years.
Take advantage of this opportunity to return this vehicle to its
original glory! Call Tom for more information at 269-317-3955.
