For Sale: 1941 Ford Dump Truck in Savannah, Georgia
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1941 Ford Dump Truck. 1941
was the last full year of production before WWII and very few of
these big pre-war dump trucks have survived. Featuring a 2.5 cubic
yard Anthony Hydraulic dump body, this truck was restored about
eight years ago - it runs and drives well and the dump bed
hydraulics are fully functional.
The cab is finished in light green with dark green fenders, running
boards and accents. Glass, bumper and lenses are all in good
condition and all exterior lights work properly (turn signals have
been added). The bump bed is likewise in very good condition. Tidy
interior features a heater and fully operational original
gauges.
Under the hood is an "85 horse" 221 cubic inch flathead V8 mated to
a four-speed manual transmission with a two-speed rear axle. Starts
easily and runs well - and unlike many vehicles of this age, can
still actually be used for its intended purpose: the present owner
recently used it to haul three tons of gravel without complaint.
This vintage truck would be perfect for an advertising vehicle as
it's certainly an attention-getter - put your company logo on the
side, write it off on your taxes, and you can actually use it to
haul stuff.
