1955 Ford Thunderbird with removable hardtop in Torch Red. Paint
has a nice shine to it and has been touched up where needed.
Powered by the 292 Y-Block V8 under the hood paired up with an
automatic transmission. Equipped with power steering, power seat,
power windows, and power brakes. Riding on wire wheels and wide
white wall radial tires; a great combo on this one. Previous owner
states (and folder of receipts) this has had over $100,000 invested
on the restoration. Red and white vinyl bench seat interior with
auto on the floor. This is an early production 1955 Thunderbird -
3,500 orders were placed within the first 10 days of accepting
orders! Rear fender skirts equipped painted to match. Interior has
been left very stock looking as well. Another fact: In 1955 the
hardtops came standard and the soft top was the option for
Thunderbirds. This one being a hard top only model! Recent service
work: pinion seal replaced, new front and rear shocks, lower
control arm bushings, brake shoes, brake hoses, power steering
hose, and slave cylinder. Tachometer and clock both work!
