Intro
This is a 1991 BMW E30 318i sedan in Sterling Silver metallic with new grey leather sport interior and 108k miles. The third and current owner acquired the car in 2007 from Rock Bottom Auto Sales, Goshen, New York with approximately 74k miles. The car now has 108,800 original miles and completed an extensive restoration with some modifications. It has 15” Euroweave wheels, a sunroof, fog lights, an onboard computer, 5-speed manual transmission, power windows, and air conditioning. This car comes with service records and photographic documentation of the restoration. It has a clear title and is in Pennsylvania.
Exterior
The current owner completed a glass-in repaint in the factory Sterling Silver metallic paint. While the Carfax identifies an accident in 1993, seller notes there was no evidence of body damage during the repaint. In fact, all body panels still have their matching VIN factory labels as noted in the photos. During the repaint some rust repair was performed on the floor pans, the battery box, and the bottoms of the door sills. This E30 had a complete suspension overhaul including rear trailing arm and subframe bushings. It has 15” Euroweave alloy wheels in excellent condition wrapped in Yokohama Advan 205/55 R15 tires purchased in 2021.
Interior
The original interior was black vinyl with grey carpeting. During the restoration the current owner redyed the carpet a charcoal black and replaced the entire interior with seating upholstered in new grey leather with factory sport front seats and original grey door cards sourced from another vehicle. The original black interior is included in the sale. The instrument cluster was rebuilt and there is a small crack in the dashboard about ¾” long as highlighted in the photos.
Mechanicals
This E30 has the 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission that recently received a new timing chain, inspection and tune up. This car was inspected end-to-end, worn parts were replaced as needed, air conditioning was upgraded to R124 and preventive and current maintenance was completed.

Imperfections

· Minor engine seepage at a front gasket (not enough to put any drops on the ground)
· Minor dents on the undercarriage from improper jacking prior to my ownership. Largely on body creases and floor-pans and one on gas-tank. They do not affect anything.
Summary
This E30 318i sedan was inspected, restored, and slightly modified with a new interior that has the more comfortable and desirable sport seats. The original interior comes with the sale. The restoration was well documented with photographs and service records.
