This isn't just another Camaro! This Rally Sport has a stunning
color combination and has had a meticulous body off frame,
rotisserie restoration. According to the tag it was born like you
see it and it has it's #s matching motor. Originally a 4-speed car,
it was upgraded to a Tremec 5-speed which makes highway cruising a
breeze!
EXTERIOR: What a great looking car! The fit and finish is probably
better than it was in 1967. The body is laser straight, the panels
are square and flush. I don't see any rust or damage. It features
front and rear spoilers as well as the Rally Sport option which
includes the hideaway headlights. These are electric, they open and
close properly. It was born Bolero Red and it is polished out like
glass. Correctly painted on nose stripe. The white vinyl top adds
some pop against the red and it looks like new. Overall, the trim,
emblems, moldings all look fantastic. It does have dual bow tie
mirrors. All the glass was replaced. It's sitting on 14x7 rally
wheels with new stainless trim rings and correct 67 center caps.
They are wrapped in reproduction Wide Oval red line tires.
INTERIOR: Beautiful white deluxe interior! According to the tag,
this is how it was born. The deluxe includes the molded door panels
and upgraded upholstery with black stripes. When you sit in the car
you will be looking at a pristine dash area. New sparkling steering
wheel on a tilt column, new heater controls, dash pad and knobs. It
has a retro stereo that fits right in the factory hole. Down on the
floor the carpet fits without wrinkles and has reproduction mats.
They even went as far as buying reproduction seat belts. Interior
lights work. It's practically new inside but I think my favorite
feature is that 5-speed sticking out of the floor!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is detailed to factory new
condition. It has its original 327-275 hp engine with correct codes
and dates. It appears completely stock including 4 barrel carb,
manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner, fuel line etc. They even went
as far as dated plug wires, reproduction hose clamps, battery
cables and a Delco battery topper. It also has a convenient battery
disconnect switch. Features include power steering and power brakes
with a cadmium plated booster. Every component looks like new,
wiring harness was replaced. All the metal surfaces are painted
smoothly.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are as slick as
the car. Inside is clean metal with a neat spatter finish. It has
reproduction decal, weatherstrip, trunk mat and a tire cover. Even
the taillight housings, wiring harness, trunk latch look new. It is
complete with a spare and jack.
UNDERSIDE: Everything was removed from under this car and the body
shell was flipped on a rotisserie. The floors are pristine rust
free metal with a smooth semi gloss black finish. All the steering
and suspension was rebuilt and detailed. It even has reproduction
spiral shocks in back. The brake system was completely restored:
lines, e-brake cables and hoses were replaced. It has a great
sounding dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel
system was replaced including the tank, sending unit and lines.
Looking up at the motor it is clean Chevy Orange, starter looks
fresh and it has the correct canister type oil filter. The
transmission was upgraded from a 4-speed to a new Tremec 5-speed.
All the related parts were also replaced. The driveshaft was
rebuilt. It has its original 3.08 10 bolt rear end dated to this
car.
SERVICE: We inspected this car and it passed with flying colors!
It's from a great seller, his cars are always dialed in.
The condition, colors and features really separate this Camaro from
the others. The new owner will be proud to show it off and will be
very pleased with it's performance!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
