Check out this beautifully restored 1979 Jeep CJ5. The build
started with a 69,580 actual documented mile Jeep. The title still
shows Actual Miles, but the odometer was replaced when the
restoration happened. It does come with the original odometer as
well.
The frame was blasted and hit with PPG Matte Black frame paint and
given all new steering, suspension, and brakes, including front
disc brakes. A new fiberglass tub was installed and painted PPG
Burnished Copper Metallic, which really makes this Jeep stand out!
New Painless wiring was installed from front to back so that
everything works as it should.
The interior was given BestTop seats, center console, and a Pioneer
AM/FM/CD player. Pair that with a tilt column and you've got a very
comfortable 4x4 ready to cruise.
The exterior was finished off with gloss black tube bumpers front
and rear, a spare tire mount on the back, and a Mile Marker 8,000
winch up front. Black wheels are wrapped in radial All-Terrain
tires that look great and make this Jeep a capable off-roader!
Under the hood, the 69,000 miles 258 engine was given new gaskets,
new oil pump, new oil pan, new valve cover, new carburetor, and
normal tune up parts. It is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission.
An aluminum radiator was installed to keep things cool in the
Florida heat. This Jeep just made a 1.5 hour drive here on the
highway with no issues! It was built to be driven and enjoyed.
It comes with a full top with zip on windows, and a bimini top for
a more open experience. Or take off both tops and cruise in the
sun! This CJ5 is about as clean as they come and looks phenomenal.
You can show this, cruise it, hit the beach, or use it at your
mountain cabin. It will feel right at home anywhere!
