For Sale: 1972 Chevrolet Malibu in Depew, New York

Vehicle Description

Another beautiful Basil Classic... this 1972 Chevrolet Malibu with only 1,022 miles since completion has been handpicked and meets Joe Basil's standards of excellence and tradition of fine automobiles since 1951. This vehicle is truly one of a kind and one of the cleanest, fastest, showroom condition Malibu's that you will find! Buy with confidence!!

This vehicle has undergone a top-quality frame off restoration, not an expense has been spared! The exterior is finished in a stunning Harley Davidson Deep Cobalt Blue Metallic paint with Opal White stripes to contrast! The body on this car is straight as an arrow with all original sheet metal, and a professionally done paint job with a deep, high gloss finish that really pops in the sun! Photos don't do this car justice... Take a close look at the chrome/ stainless trim and bumpers, exterior lighting, glass, paint, and everything else... immaculate! A set of staggered black- chrome wheels have been wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires giving it a great stance! The interior has also been completely redone and is all brand new! The black vinyl interior features a set of upgraded bucket seats that hold you in nicely and make for a comfortable ride! The carpet, door panels, dashboards, steering wheel, headliner and everything else are in excellent condition! The interior has an upgraded Dakota Digital gauge cluster with a digital information screen, AFR A-pillar gauges, an upgraded sound system with a retro style Bluetooth radio, and more! Under the hood of this beast is a 434ci SBC built by Skip White Performance! This car is a force to be reckoned with dynoing at 660HP and 600lb ft of torque! (Dyno sheet can be seen in the gallery) The motor is fully built with a Dart block, AFR heads, AFR valves, ARP head bolts and rocker studs, Wiseco forged pistons, forged 4349 crank shaft, 11 : 1 compression, ATI Super Damper harmonic balancer, SCAT competition connecting rods, ARP rod bolts, SBC rod and main bearing, Comp cam, SA billet timing gear, SBC M Select 10553 oil pump, Comp Ultra Pro Mag roller rockers, a Holley 950 CFM carb and much more! Take a look in the photo gallery to see documents such as the engine build information, receipts, parts info, and more! Take a look at the engine bay where you will see it has been painted to match and upgraded to perfection with chrome throughout, braded lines, only the best parts available, and truly too much to point out, see it for yourself! $40,000 invested in the motor alone! The 434 is paired with a Tremec TXK 5-speed manual transmission with carbon Syncros and the power is put down through a Mosier 9" posi rear end with 4:11 gears! This transmission feels amazing, and the car is surprisingly easy to drive! With all that go power you need reliable stopping power... That is done with a Wilwood disk brake kit with a hydoboost setup! All of the suspension has also been revamped with QA1 coilovers, a boxed frame for reinforcement, adjustable 4 link trailing arms, and everything else you can imagine! Photos of the undercarriage are also in the gallery! Every nut and bolt on this car have been touched, the entire car has also been all rewired with an American Auto Wiring harness. Only 1,022 miles have been put on the car since it was completed and it has been meticulously maintained, always kept in a climate-controlled environment and driven sparingly only on the nicest days! The first owner of the car was an elderly gentleman who had unfortunately passed. The car then sat for years covered up with rags stuffed in the frame. The 2nd and most recent owner purchased the car from the estate and built it into the piece of artwork it is today! This is your opportunity to own a top-quality built car with great history and lots of money invested!

Just look and you can tell that this vehicle was very well cared for by its owners and kept in show condition! When you drive this vehicle, it has the feel that you're looking for...runs and drives just like new! This is a no excuse vehicle. This car will make a fine collector's piece for you and your family for years to come! Instead of looking at your Dream car Drive it We take trades and have financing available.
