Vehicle Description
1968 Buick GS Convertible
Why This Car Is Special
The Gran Sport name has been used on several high-performance cars
built by Buick since 1965. In the GM brands hierarchy, Buick was
surpassed in luxury and comfort appointments only by Cadillac,
which did not produce performance models. As a result, the Buick GS
series were the most opulently equipped GM sport models of their
era.
The restored 1968 Buick GS Convertible we have for sale at Skyway
Classics is one of the first true factory big block muscle cars you
could ever get back in the 60's. It has a 400 cubic inch engine
that enabled it to run high 14 second mile times and could go
from 0-60 mph in 8.9 seconds. Not bad for the era.
Ours has an automatic transmission, power steering, power disc
brakes, bucket seats, factory air conditioning, tilt wheel, a power
convertible top, and the correct Grand Sport wheels with Coker Red
Line tires.
